How is this different from Yoga and Pilates?
Other modalities only focus on a few puzzle pieces, stretching, strengthening, endurance...etc. This movement approach shows you how the whole body works together. Through awareness of what we are doing, we are able to relearn better ways of moving that release excess muscle tension and restore bones to optimal alignment. Giving the body an alternative to conventional popular movement approaches. A dysfunctional system will only be detrimental to the already stressed body.
What should I expect in a group class?
Classes are taught verbally and the participants are guided through the movement sequence. Each lesson is based on a particular function and designed on a precise study of how the nervous system learns best. During the lesson, you will lie comfortably clothed on the floor, with your eyes softly closed. The movements are a sequence of gentle actions, to increasingly complex movements that explore your skeletal alignment, breath, muscle tone and sense habits. Awareness Through Movement® classes gives you a chance to retrain your proprioception and expand your muscle memory. This allows your system to accurately sense your movement patterns, to eliminate compulsive and dysfunctional strain.

1. Will it be fun?
Yes, although learning something new that challenges your current thinking is challenging. I will meet each person where they are at and ensure they have the concepts before moving forward. If you join us this 2019, you can be guaranteed to begin 2020 with a newfound zest for movement.
2. Are the results guaranteed?
Nothing can be guaranteed when it relies on you to show up and do the work. Short term mindset is problematic and a symptom of our cultural misunderstanding of what our bodies need for true transformation. 8-weeks is only a short time. Potentially you will be working for years to re-learn movement habits. You must show up and do the lessons, consistency is key to transformation. There are no magic pills. This program will give you solid information and a curiosity to learn more, for an insane price for a lifetime of transformation.
3. What is the promise then?
The promise is to help you make a fundamental shift in the way you experience your body/brain capabilities. What is tangible is learning about current scientific research on a biological level. You will learn to embody a curious mind and experience new movement patterns. A possible shift in mindset and confidence.
4. Why are you offering the money back, and sitting with me until we have a breakthrough in your understanding of the Feldenkrais Method?
Quite simply, I care about my students, maybe more than they care about themselves on some levels. I know that if you show up, do the lessons, learn to listen to yourself in the way I teach you, you will have a profound shift in how you view your movement and the body/brain connection that I have witnessed time and time again. I’m excited to share this with you. I’m not afraid to put all my cards on the table and give you my full commitment and I know that for this to be exceptional, you need to be all in as well.
5. What is my commitment then?
I expect you to have high engagement with the content over the 8-weeks. Higher than any other program or course you have ever done in the past. The 8-weeks in a short time period to give you a fully comprehensive program. I will set weekly tasks and lessons to complete that you will need to share your experiences from. Don’t get me wrong, you don’t need to show up or do anything - but why sign up if you are not going to go all in? You are only cheating your future self. I want to help you uplevel so that you can uplevel the lives of those you help.
6. What happens if I miss lessons, masterclasses and don’t do the set tasks?
You have access to the replay for life. If you don't share during the program, you won’t get the most out of our time together and get the full benefit of my coaching. You are cheating yourself.
7. Will anything disqualify me from the promise refund and me showing up to help you one to one?
Yes, to qualify for the refund and me helping you, you need to show up, do the lessons and attend the masterclasses (or watch the replay). Do all the tasks I set you for the week. If you do this and don’t have a shift in how you experience yourself and your understanding of the brain/body connection, you will qualify.
8. Is this available only for people in Australia?
Not at all, with the power of the internet, this program is open to anyone wherever they are in the world. You can still tune into the live masterclasses, complete the tasks and join the weekly lessons. I have scheduled weekly lessons to accommodate all timezones. The 8 Masterclasses are scheduled on Saturdays to accommodate most time zones, if your timezone doesn’t match to catch them live, you can access the recordings uploaded within 24hours later. However, some students have set their alarms to get up at 4am. The question comes back to you. How committed are you?
9. Is there support beyond the 8-weeks?
